British Craftsmanship in Woodby Betty Norbury
£27.50 new, £22 from me.

Furniture for the 21st Century
by Betty Norbury
£30 new, £22 from me.
Building Arts & Crafts Furnitureby Paul Kemner
£17 new, £12 from me.
Beautiful photographs and not the stock images usually found in books on Arts and Crafts furniture. The choice of projects, including Morris chair, settle, and glazed bookcase, are more advanced than you generally find in these sorts of books.

Making Classic English Furniture
by Paul Richardson
£10.
By classic, understand Georgian and Regency, so the book is of little interest to me. There is plenty of veneering required in these projects. And chapter four is devoted to hand veneering.
Router Joinery Handbook
Good Wood Routersby Albert Jackson and David Day
£6.00.
Fairly straightforward introduction to the router, but some of the home-made jigs featured are too ambitious for the cursive details provided. Best for someone new to routers.
The Woodworker's Bible by Alf Martensson
£15 new from Amazon or £7.00 from me.

The Encyclopedia of Joint Making
by Terrie Noll
£35 on Amazon! presumably out of print, £12 from me.
With very specific subject matter, this book is much more useful than the endlessly repetitive "introduction" books.
Complete Woodworker's Manualby Albert Jackson and David Day
£16 from Amazon, £15 from me.
Woodworkers' Questions Answeredexcept the big one: "how do I make money?"
by Alan and Gill Bridgewater
£62 from Amazon (because it is out of print) or £17 from me (the price it was when available).
The Essential Guide to Woodworkhdbk by Chris Simpson
£12 and good value at that. An introduction to everything, including bits of furniture history.
